Love You Long Time

Thursday was the Love You Long Time concert in Provo!! I went down right after school and hung out with Alicia and Eric (in Alicia's dorm room which i also think is a dungeon). Then Eric and i went shopping for some sweet kick ace hats at the DI. Then we stood in line for 20 minutes waiting to get in, might i add that it was freakin freeeeeezing. While standing in line for the concert the girl from Love You Long Time gave Eric and I high fives for dressing up! I was wearing gray skinny jeans with a v-neck and a boyfriend sweater with my hat and some glasses with out lenses. Eric was wearing cutoffs with a v-neck and his sweet hat! might i just say WE'RE SO BOSSOME (aka boss awesome)!
The concert was at a small little place so it was way sweet cuz it was a little more personal.
First guy that was on was named Pablo and he was way sweet. he had kind of a jack Johnson style. I decided he could stay.
Second band were these four guys and i cant remember their name, so i guess you can see how much i liked them. They came out to set up in just dorky t-shirts and jeans and they looked like they probably went to BYU and i was like "lame!". after setting up they went off stage and came back on with these super short 70's bball shorts and stuff and then i thought "hmmm maybe not as lame". They were interesting and one of them played the accordion which was way sweet.
Third band was Teen Hearts and they were way sweet!

I honestly don't know how to describe what kind of music teen hearts and Love You Long Time are. Sweetness is the only word that comes to mind. Teen Hearts was way cool and super fun to watch. The lead singer the one on the far left in the picture was way funny and acted a little gay but he stole my hat and wore it for a bit! ya...i know... I'm cool.

Then it was Love You Long Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really cant act this excited about it because before the concert i had only heard their music maybe two times. So i felt like kind of a poser that night. but it was still way way way fun to go to the concert. When they first came out, Eric and i were in the middle of the crowd near the front and people started jumping up and down and what not and i think i about died. It wouldn't have been bad if i was not at least 4 inches shorter then everyone there. They kept pushing me down till i felt like i was suffocating. So after about a song i told Eric i was going to the back and that he could stay there. Of course Eric came back with me because he's a nice kid (sorry you didn't get to party in the front Eric :( ). It turned out okay though cuz we broke out some of our sweet dance moves which is way more fun then being smashed between sweaty strange men.

Best part of the night was when they sang a song about Hot Rod. "2 legit! 2 legit to quit!"

I left with bruises on my foot and hands (from punching people out of my way and being stepped on) as souvenirs.
