Dear Ashley

Oh how i miss the red sandstone rock against the blue blue sky! Your blog made me want to back up my stuff and head down south right now!
Here are some pictures from the Young Women trip down the Coyote Gulch. Probably one of my most favorite trips! Its an easy hike for those who aren't that into the hiking aspect of backpacking. It has fresh water, 3 or 4 different waterfalls, and an awesome swim hole!!
This is the swim hole where my papa and i jumped off the rock! It twas amazing!!!

please dont judge the fat white legs
do you recognize this from Ashley's blog? That's Bishop Regis getting a little wet...

There is this crazy intense, super steep, but short hike after you get to your camp site. You pretty much hike strait up the same distance that it took you 2 hours to hike down in 40 minutes. Once you're at the top you get the most amazing view of coyote and the sister canyon next to it.

This is actually a picture of the hike in( which i guess is also the hike out). It's really interesting and keeps you entertained because there are a few obstacles to get past which include lowering your packs with a rope.
I think the best part about this hike is that everyone can do it! There is also a nice supply of water. You only have to set up camp once but you can spend a couple days in there because of the really fun day hikes.
So Ashley, I'm totally in!!
