Las Vegas

First off. Andrew and I have some pretty sweet inventions including our ranch popcorn. Andrew really likes going to Wingers for one specific reason, dipping his popcorn in the ranch dressing. I told him that we should mix some of the ranch dip mix into our popcorn bag so we did. It turns out you only need a TINY bit or it's way to powerful but if you are a fan of ranch dressing on everything like Andrew and I, I would recommend try it out :)

Two Saturdays ago I had to sub a Saturday morning Zumba class so I told Andrew not to wake be because I wanted to sleep in. Turns out he got up at 5:30 am and hike to the top of Grandeur Peak and was back by the time I got up. This is a shot for the top of the peak.

This is a non attractive shot of me on our Sunday evening hike with the family. My pops wanted to eat dinner at a lake up Big Cottonwood canyon. It was a blast although we all got eaten alive by thousands of bugs! I've never hiked up a hill so quick in my life to get away from the blood suckers!
Andrew's best friend, who was one of Andrews groomsmen at our wedding got married last Saturday. Since he had made the trek up to Salt Lake from Las Vegas for our wedding, we thought it would be best to show our support as well, plus it's a Vegas Trip!

The first night we had planned on camping but out campground was actually closed so this was our campsite for the first night.
That morning we went climbing at Red Rock Canyon which is just west of Las Vegas. We actually had a bit of an off morning and only got a few climbs in but still had a blast.

When there are only 2 people climbing it's kinda hard to get actions shots.

We then went for a swim at the Marriott there in west Vegas. It started to rain soon after we had arrived so we decided we were in the mood for a buffet. We went to the Red Rock Casino that is near Red Rock Canyon. Their buffet is very yummy and only 10.00$ a person, although no crab legs :(

The second night we got a hotel since we wanted to look decent for the wedding reception that night. We still had time to kill before we could check into our hotel so we went shopping of course! Andrew pretty much made me buy a pair of 50$ flip flops that he swore would change my life, what a silly boy ;)

After a nap at the hotel we cleaned up and headed out to the golf course were the reception was held. I love it! It was so simple but still so elegant. On the back patio they had big leather couches where Andrew and I sat and watched the sun set. It was perfect and very very relaxing.


Since we're old married people we pretty much went to bed after that and headed back home in the morning. A short but successful weekend. :)
