NEW RULES!!!
I'm excited to announce another round of Healthy Habits. I've changed it around a bit to hopefully meet everyone's needs and goals a little better.
Rules:
20 points for 64 oz of water per day
10 points per 20 minutes of exercise (20 points/40 min possible)
10 points for scripture study or self help book
5 points for morning prayer 5 points for evening prayer (or 10 for meditation)
Here's were the changes come in...
You have 40 points to divide up to your own needs. You need to come up with a diet that is either approved by myself or a fitness/health professional. You can also use some of the points to set personal goals such as reading to my kids everyday or keeping my house clean or what ever your needs and goals are.
We will still have negative 5 points for every "bad food" you eat. You'll be making your own bad food list.
You get 3 free meals a week which you can use at any point during the week (they can be used all in the same day if you wish). You will also receive 5 bonus points for every cheat meal you DON'T use during the week (total of 15 points per week).
All holidays are free days. Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve.
You will still receive 5 points per half lb lost at the weekly weigh in (or 10 points per half lb muscle gain). Weigh ins will be on Saturdays. It's very important that you turn in your points BY 12 PM ON SATURDAY TO YOUR TEAM LEADER. The team leader can then report the points to me via Facebook message.
You can have a team of 3 or 4. Team leaders will report all individual scores to me. There will be 2 bonus points awarded each to the top 2 people of the week.
Please feel welcome to add yummy recipes to the Facebook page but I've done away with the bonus points for those.
My goal is to have 10 teams participate or 40 people so that the winning pot can be $400 ($10 per person for entry). Talk to your friend family and neighbors about the challenge! The new rules make it so flexible for anyone to participate! It's totally geared towards your own needs.
Here is the catch... we are starting in ONE WEEK FROM TODAY. You have one week to get a team together, designate a team leader, and come up with a team name. The challenge will last for 8 weeks.
What are you questions, comments, or concerns?? Let me know!! Its going to be a lot of hard work but a lot of fun! Reference here and here for my past results and rules.
